Summer is here and that means wine choices turn to lighter, more refreshing options. So, out with the red wines and in with the whites. Right? Not so fast. Some reds deserve a slight chill and it’s a great time to explore what Virginia’s orchards have to offer as well.

The wine offerings in the Charlottesville area are numerous and versatile and the wines that offer you respite from the Virginia humidity might surprise you.
