Community Partnership Program
Our business at Eastwood Farm and Winery is built on our core values – supporting and strengthening our community is one of those. We are deeply grateful to be a part of the Charlottesville community and are proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations. We are dedicated to sharing our beautiful space and creating deeply rooted relationships within our community. We launched our Community Partnership Program in April 2022 and had the honor of partnering with three wonderful organizations last year. We look forward to another robust year of partnerships.
Q4 2023: Local Food Hub
Local Food Hub is strengthening local food systems by advocating for fairness in farming, advancing equitable access to local food, and providing support to small independent farmers.
Local Food Hub was founded in 2009 to work with Virginia farmers to increase community access to local food. We bought, aggregated, and sold food from small, independent farms; provided technical assistance to growers; and created programs to increase food access.
The Season Of Giving
We’ve partnered with Toy Lift & Local Food Hub
As part of our Community Partnership Program, we are collecting children’s toys for Toy Lift and canned good and kitchen essentials for Local Food Hub. These items will be distributed locally by these organizations this season. Do you have items to donate? Drop them off in the tasting room every day during business hours.
You can learn more about these two organizations by following the links below:

We’re also highlighting these great organizations at our two holiday markets this season. Join us for the Wine & Winter Market on December 2, which supports Toy Lift and for the Holiday Sip & Shop on December 10, which supports, Local Food Hub. Guests are welcome to drop off donated items on these days or any time that we are open. Both markets feature local makers from Heart of Virginia Artisans.
