Community Partnership Program

Our business at Eastwood Farm and Winery is built on our core values – supporting and strengthening our community is one of those. We are deeply grateful to be a part of the Charlottesville community and are proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations. We are dedicated to sharing our beautiful space and creating deeply rooted relationships within our community.

Keeping Families Warm One Volunteer at a Time

With the help of many volunteers, Start A Spark of Central Virginia provides quality firewood to families that are struggling to pay for heat in the winter. Start A Spark aims to bring the community closer together by serving one another through their firewood load and delivery events. These provide opportunities for volunteers to load and deliver to those in need.

Start A Spark has helped hundreds of families in over six counties. Along with the help of sponsors, they have a combined 20 years of service.

“Delivering to needy families and seeing what impact this charity makes on the community is very moving. The hard work is more than worth it, knowing families will be warm and comfortable during difficult times.” – Tracey J.
