The Wine Label Art Competition

Our First Annual Wine Label Art Competition was hosted in 2022. Voting in the competition is one of the many perks that our wine club members enjoy. We are excited to share that we had two winners in 2022 and you can see their winning artworks and learn more about them below. In 2023, we will release two Artist Blends – a red wine featuring the artwork of Craig Impink and a white featuring the artwork of Meg Davies.

In 2022, we received 35 artwork submissions from outstanding Virginia artists. The voting was extremely close and our club members had many favorites. We look forward to hosting the second edition of the competition later this year.

Meg Davies

From The Hydrangeas’ View
Megan Davies is an artist based in central Virginia whose inspiration comes from the simple, joyful moments of life. By taking what would otherwise be lost, the artist preserves memories in her work.

Megan was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia and graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and drawing. She creates from a home-studio and is a represented artist in several Virginia galleries. Her work has been exhibited by galleries and collected by private clients across the United States and Europe.

Craig Impink

His paintings have been show at numerous galleries, the Amelia Island Museum of History and Baptist Medical Center Nassau – all located in Fernandina Beach. Missing Virginia, Craig and Ingrid moved to the Charlottesville area part-time in 2017 and full-time in 2019. They now reside happily in Keswick with their two dogs.
