2025 Artist Blend WINNER

Vineyard with a Blue Ridge View by Lea Doise

About The Artist
Lea Doise is an artist from central Virginia. Being an artist and creating is one of her greatest joys and allows her to study the often overlooked aspects of the world around her, closely observing its patterns, textures, shapes, colors, and most importantly, all of the emotions that are evoked by these observations. Creating works helps her to better reconnect with her reflective, inner-self, that quiet voice which prompts her to ponder our place in an ever-changing universe that contains such beauty. She learned to paint at an early age by painting alongside her grandmother. Lea has self guided her artist education by always seeking out more information about what inspires her and has attended numerous painting workshops, classes, and online tutorials along with constantly reading about art and past artists. She has a passion for plein air painting which also greatly influences her work.
About The Blend

This wine will be a new bottling of our crowd favorite Petit Viognier featuring – a delicious blend of Viognier and Petit Manseng. This is a small batch wine and it will be released first to Eastwood Wine Club members in November 2025. Once we have fulfilled wine club orders, it will be available by the bottle in the tasting room and online. Stay tuned for an Artist Release Party later this year!

She lives in Charlottesville, VA with her husband, mimi-goldendoodle and baby girl. “I love that painting allows us to recreate moments, places and events in a way that we can save and see in our everyday lives. Combining my love of painting with wedding stationery and decor has become my primary focus and passion. It allows me to use my creativity in combination with a couple’s story to bring their vision to live and be shared with their closest friends and family in anticipation of their special day. I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place, and love featuring central Virginia’s beautiful venues and spaces in my work!”
