Welcome to the Virginia Wine Collective by Eastwood Farm and Winery. Opened in May 2025, the Collective is a dynamic wine production facility and tasting room located in Charlottesville, just three miles from Eastwood.
The space brings together nine private winemaker suites, an incubator program, and a central production area. These suites provide independent winemakers with a home to anchor their licenses and craft their wines, all within a collaborative, supportive environment. By lowering the barriers to entry, the Collective aims to foster innovation, creativity, and emerging talent throughout the Monticello AVA.
Our tasting room and kitchen are open Wednesday through Friday from 5–10 PM. Join us for a menu of thin-crust pizzas, shareable appetizers, curated Winemaker Wine Flights, and a rotating selection of cold beers on tap.
We also host a lively calendar of events, including Friday Night Winemaker Pop-Ups and Wednesday Karaoke. Be sure to check out our Upcoming Events Calendar for the latest details.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Collective.
Kindly note that guests visiting the Virginia Wine Collective must be over 21 years of age with a valid ID. If you have kids in tow, please visit us at Eastwood Farm and Winery.
Beginning March 25th, the Collective will be open every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5-10PM. Enjoy wine, beer and pizza as well as a revamped lounge and shuffleboard.

“When we started building Eastwood, it was with a vision to support local agriculture and create an inclusive business that would reflect the diverse community around us. What we have learned is that, along with the need for inclusivity, there is also a need for more access. In addition to providing studios for established independent winemakers looking for a collaborative production space and tasting room, the Virginia Wine Collective will provide new paths to ownership by enabling new winemakers to get started without the high costs typically required. Many just need a launching pad. I was the fortunate recipient of generous scholarships and encouragement from institutions and people who took a chance on me at a time when I did not look like a good bet. Having experienced what a difference that kind of support can make, we are looking forward to helping to amplify these businesses.” – Athena Eastwood
