Master of the method champenoise, Claude Thibaut moved to Charlottesville, Virginia in 2003 to spearhead the creation of a sparking wine. In 2005, he started his own label in partnership with Manuel Janisson, producer of the Champagne Janisson & Fils. Thibaut’s career spans 25 years of expertise in all aspects of winemaking with valuable years spent in major wine markets including his native France, Australia, and California. Since he graduated over two decades ago from the University of Reims in the heart of France’s Champagne region, Thibaut has demonstrated superlative ability in the production of premium wines and has worked for world-class wineries including Kendall-Jackson and Kluge Estate.
Using his skill with the methode champenoise – a double fermentation process that creates the bubbles found in Champagne and sparkling wines – Thibaut has developed a reputation for making outstanding wines that have appeared at state dinners at the White House and received numerous local, regional, and international awards.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Brad Hansen earned a degree in Botany and a Master’s Degree in Enology from Marshall University and the University of Maryland. Brad has over 30 years experience and has earned over 400 medals for his wines. Brad’s enthusiasm and commitment to Virginia wine has made him a favorite in the industry.
Jeremy is known by many for the numerous years he has spent in the local beverage industry in Charlottesville, Virginia. Jeremy has literally moved mountains to bring the Eastwood dream to life. A man of many talents and unstoppable energy, Jeremy is one of Eastwood’s winemakers and cider masters and also personally manages all farm operations.
