Wings Over Wine Country & Maker’s Market
Join us for a special afternoon of wildlife education and up-close encounters with some incredible animal ambassadors from Wildlife Center of Virginia! From 12:00-1:30 PM, enjoy a meet and greet with several of our visiting animals – including Clover the American Kestrel, Rosalie the Red-tailed Hawk, Buddy the Bald Eagle, one of our friendly opossums, and a few fascinating reptiles. Then, stay for a short presentation from 1:30-2:00 PM to learn more about these remarkable creatures and their stories.
While you’re here, be sure to visit the Maker’s Market in the barn parking lot, featuring local artisans and vendors with a variety of handmade goods to explore and shop from throughout the day.
The event will take place on the grass near the picnic tables. While RSVPs are appreciated (but not required), they help us plan for a comfortable experience for everyone – people and animals alike.
RSVPs can be made to: megan@eastwoodfarmandwinery.com
Please remember that animals are creatures too – their well-being comes first! If one of our ambassador animals isn’t feeling up to the trip on the day of the event, they may stay home to rest. Thank you for understanding and helping us ensure their comfort and care.
Come connect with nature, learn about local wildlife, and meet some unforgettable feathered and scaly friends!
